When the clock reaches zero you can start the next period, an overtime if the score is level, or end the game. If the clock ran out by mistake, choose Correct the clock. A finished game can be reopened from its summary.
When the game has a shot clock, the same sheet has a second QR code for a dedicated shot clock remote.
Who can control the game: every link contains a key for that game, so the address alone opens nothing. Turn on Approve new remotes to accept each new device on the board, and Lock once your crew is connected.
| Problem | Try this |
|---|---|
| The phone cannot open the remote | Check both devices are on the same Wi-Fi and the game is open. Some guest networks block devices from seeing each other: use a phone hotspot |
| "Scan the QR code" on the phone | The link has no key or an old one. Scan the code again |
| "Waiting for approval" | Accept the device on the board, or turn off Approve new remotes |
| "Remotes are locked" | Turn off Lock in the phone icon sheet, connect, then lock again |
| iOS never asked for Local Network access | Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network > turn on the app |
| No sound | Check the volume and the silent switch |
